In depth

Verdict

A difficult race to assess with plenty of lightly raced types who are open to improvement such as Desert Alchemy who shaped promisingly on her sole outing last term while Golden Chalice has shown enough to suggest that he will prove hard to beat in this company. Threefold, a daughter of Gulch out of an unraced Theatrical mare, is an interesting debutant from the Sir Michael Stoute yard who could be anything. James Fanshawe saddles three with the promising Durandana the pick of the trio while Tahlil will come on for her recent outing when running green and is another to consider.
