Stay Forever won over a mile at Sandown two runs ago and was second on soft going over this trip at Salisbury in June. Smokey Lane has gone slightly off the boil lately but is an interesting contender if back on song dropped in grade again. Veteran Secondo is not out of this but a chance is taken that LALANIA handles this easier going as Julia Engstrom’s mount has fallen to an attractive mark and has attracted market support in each of her last three runs.
