Verdict

In a competitive finale, keep a close eye on the betting but, that said, we will stick with Lake Chini ahead of Zidane, Extremely Rare and Adantino. Lake Chini comes here fit and looks to be on a competitive mark and, given that he has a good draw and tends to go well in cheekpieces, he is selected at what is also his favoured trip. The booking of Kieren Fallon for recent winner Crimson King has to be of interest, while course and distance winner Extremely Rare gets a good mention. Chinalea comes here on a winning mark and Zidane rates as very interesting based on his maiden win, so watch the betting. Roman Quintet comes here in good heart and might sneak a place. Grand Place would be well handicapped if returning to the level of his two-year-old form, but he has not been seen for a long time, while, based on his good Lingfield run on February 28th, Adantino could yet be well-handicapped on Turf, and he can go well, and he is closely-weighted with Roman Quintet based on that run. They are both well drawn, as is Lake Chini, who gets the vote.
