    Verdict

Be My Charm ran well to finish second over course and distance last time and can go one better this time, La Fanciulla, Brunelleschi and Mouchoir look to be the main rivals. The selection stayed on from the back to chase home Nivelle in that contest last month. He took quite a while to get the hang of things and looks the type to improve. Mouchoir also looks the type to progress with racing and following two modest efforts, the fitting of first time blinkers could have the desired effect. Richard Hannon runs two newcomers and the pick of them could be the 40 thousand guineas purchase La Fanciulla, the mount of Richard Hughes. Brunelleschi, having shown plenty of promise behind Charlton on his Wolverhampton debut may do beat of the others, but our idea of the winner is Be My Charm.
