Verdict

BRASTED sets a decent standard as he descends into selling company for the first time. Admittedly, all his best form has come on the all-weather where he's performed well in Class 5 handicaps the last twice but he really should be too good for this opposition. The main threat looks to be Clive Clifton who also tackles selling grade for the first time but the overall strength of his form profile is not as robust as that of the selection. He was a solid second here last time in claiming company over trip and ground. The formbook suggest that the remaining quartet will all need to improve considerably to handle the aforementioned pair, although it may pay to check out Paco Pat in the market as he steps up in trip and drops to this grade for the first time, in which he is a rare runner for Richard Hannon.
