Verdict

It all depends on the weather but a low draw may not be a disaster for the experienced SCARLET ROCKS and she gets the vote over Zebedee, Galtymore Lad and Straight Line. David Evans has made a quick start with his juveniles and this daughter of Chineur has shaped with plenty of promise in her two starts. She is quickly turned out but should be able to put her experience to good use, especially if the ground softens. No Peace is likely to need further, so a bigger threat today might be Zebedee who represents the yard that won this in 2008 and always make a bright start with their two-year-old's. If he finds this trip too sharp (out of a ten furlong winner), then it might pay to side with Galtymore Lad who is bred to be effective over this trip as a youngster. Kieren Fallon looks an interesting jockey booking for Straight Line, Decimate represents a yard going well at present, whilst Ad Vitam and Silly Billy give Sylvester Kirk two darts to throw at the target. The betting should be informative here, however without that information we are happy to side with Scarlet Rocks.
