This looks a very competitive opener. Raducanu started favourite here on her second start and wasn’t beaten far while Confederation has placed in three of his five starts to date. Lahina Bay has also been knocking on the door but BON MARINE’s third behind Explicit in a valuable seller at Musselburgh has been franked and Karl Burke’s juveniles can do little wrong at present. Desperate Hero has also shown ability and Grace Angel is another who deserves a change of luck. Metarace looks the most interesting of the newcomers even though he was a relatively cheap purchase.
