In depth
Verdict
There was plenty to like about the debut run from Songgaria and, with normal improvement anticipated, the daughter of Kingsinger is preferred over Glasson Lodge and Shish, who have both shaped as if a race of this nature is within them at some point. In contrast to Zachy Boy and Debs Broughton, who have been struggling to beat any horses home in their last couple of starts and they are probably best watched again here. The same comments can be leveled at Muestra, who is yet to start a race at a price shorter than 40/1, and the form will have a decidedly shaky profile if she was to manage to make the frame. Therefore, it may be more prudent to stick with Songgaria as she at least showed a good attitude when she finally got the hang of things near the finish at Folkestone. Shish already has a little to find with the selection so it may be left to Glasson Lodge to provide Songgaria with the most to do here.
