In depth

Verdict

Good Listener appears to be coming to hand and his sole victory to date came on this track. Tanfantic is a course and distance winner but hasn’t fired so far this year. Churchill Bay still has time on his side but ROYAL MUSKETEER (NAP) overcame a tardy start to score readily on fast going at Ripon 12 days ago and may be able to shrug off a 6lb rise. Smeaton's Light also arrives in good form while Alphonse Karr easily landed the odds at Wolverhampton and could be anything.
