In depth

Verdict

Rodin, out of a winning miler and a half-brother to two winners, is an interesting newcomer here with his pedigree suggesting he should handle conditions. But another chance goes to TAMBOURINE GIRL, just beaten over course and distance on debut before a beaten favourite at Kempton. That latter race has worked out well with the winner going on to finish fifth in the Rockfel and the fourth successful twice since. Imperial Command found 5f too short here in April but hasn’t raced since while Good Earth has had plenty of chances. Almuerzo Loco is a likely improver and looks best of the rest.
