Verdict

TELECASTER chased home the well-backed Bangkok on his debut over a mile at Doncaster last month. The first two pulled well clear and Hughie Morrison’s colt has an entry in next month’s Dante so will have to win this if he is to take his place on the Knavesmire. John Gosden will be expecting Newmarket fifth Suakin to improve over this longer trip as she’s a half-sister to a 1m4f winner. Deal A Dollar went close at Kempton in December when easy to back and Ryan Moore takes over the reins from an apprentice. Australis could be a newcomer to note but previous winners Ginistrelli and Ragnar have to give 7lb to less-exposed types.
