Verdict

11 of the 13 runners here have distance wins to their name so this should prove to be a very competitive meeting and has proven a difficult one to make a selection in but it goes to LAST SOVEREIGN with Pegasus Again and Special Reserve offered up as each way alternatives. The selection has been in great form this year winning at Kempton and finishing runner up at Doncaster last time out. He was clear-second best there and in similar conditions here should have no trouble romping home to victory. Pegasus Again has been consistent over 1m on the all weather this year running well on each occasion without finding a win. The going here should suit and a repeat of his most recent performances should see him make the money. Special Reserve returns to the track after a five month break and can make the frame if he can return to the form he was in last year. He does have a tendency to frustrate his supporter though and hasn¿t had a victory in 13 outings even though he has proven ability. Our selection then goes to Last Soverign.
