      Verdict

      Antiphon has been here twice and won both though enjoys some cut in the ground. Vespasian's two victories have been on the all-weather and his recent close second at Thirsk was on soft going. Faustus was beaten less than a length on soft ground here last week, though that was a Class 5 handicap. GLAMOROUS BREEZE has dropped to exactly the same mark as when scoring on fast ground at Salisbury last summer and could be the one to beat though Whats In The Bag won a novices' race over the track and trip last June by five lengths, though hasn't run subsequently.
