Verdict
The evergreen 10-year-old Full Spate has the best of the draw in stall 16 and is taken to make the most of it and score at the main expense of Extremely Rare and High Ridge. The last mentioned is a stablemate of the selection and Milton Bradley's gelding has top be respected, particularly with a berth in stall 14, but he may struggle to give weight away all round. Pine Bay has not won since landing his maiden here last year has shown signs of a revival of late and could be of interest, while Adantino has been punished for his consistency. Caustic Wit has suggested that his turn may not be far away and is another worthy of a mention along with Petardias Magic, for who a market move would be of interest. Tribute and Chatshow are others worthy of a mention but a bigger threat is likely to come from recent course and distance winner Extremely Rare, although a 6lb higher mark leaves him with more to do. The vote though goes to Full Spate, who has slipped to a fair mark, has ground conditions to suit and the pick of the draw.
