        Verdict

        None of these arrive in sparkling form and even though Commandingpresence has gone close on his last couple of outings, he remains 5lb higher than August's win at Lingfield. Laura's Bairn is a soft ground winner along with Dispol Grand but neither have looked like winning of late and the same applies to Speak The Truth although the latter drops in class today. SHAWKANTANGO was beaten only a short-head off today's mark back in April and he gets the token to vote to return to winning ways with Silvestre De Sousa taking over the reins.
