Verdict
Richard Hannon has an excellent record at this track with his juveniles and Avertitop can add to his tally, Brassini and Ink Spot are put forward as two of the best alternatives. Avertitop didn't go off unfancied on his recent Leicester debut and ran well for a long time. The stable's two-year-old's tend to improve with racing and he looks set to go close in this modest looking event. Brassini also showed promise on his debut, finishing a close up fourth behind Fred's Lad at Folkestone. The experience will not be lost on him and we can expect a big run. Some interesting newcomers here including Michael Bell's Ink Spot, 32 thousand guineas son of Diktat and the Barry Hills trained Acclamation colt Huzzah. The market should give clues towards their relative chances. Before placing any wager in this contest the betting should be monitored, however without that knowledge we have to side with the once raced Avertitop.
