In depth

Verdict

Spring City gets the vote ahead of Berry Hill Lass and Torba. This looks a straight-forward task for Godolphin's three-year-old who has finished second on his two starts to date; both being beaten by three-quarters of a length. Those efforts at Sandown were on ground with some cut in and with conditions likely to be similar today, he gets the confident selection. Jamaahir is the most exposed of these and cannot be fancied, so of more interest is Berry Hill Lass who looks the pick of the John O'Shea quartet. Torba didn't seem to improve from his first to second runs and will need to bounce back from that recent effort. At a price newcomer Tropical Strait could run into a place, however Spring City should win this very comfortably.
