Verdict
The majority are pretty exposed so let's row in with NEW RIVER who moves into handicap company after the three mandatory maiden runs, the latest of which was an improved effort behind New Hampshire in a run-of-the-mill Newmarket maiden. The Hannon charge has shown promise on all three outings and starts handicap life on a decent mark. Clarion Call was only just edged out on his handicap debut at Brighton behind Plattsburgh who has since franked the form. Effigy is as genuine as they come and should go well again for Amy Scott despite topweight, whilst the veteran Colinca's Lad must be considered after a runaway Yarmouth success recently.
