Verdict
Cosmic Destiny is 3lbs better in with Orpen Wide for the length that separated the pair at Newmarket and is fancied to reverse the form on this sharper track, with Quality Street rated the best of the remainder. The selection barely gets five furlongs so it is with great credit that Ed Vaughan's filly only just failed at headquarters last time and on this sharper track she is taken to gain a deserved first success. Orpen Wide cannot be discounted on Newmarket form and is entitled to be thereabouts. Brighton winner Cloann drops back in distance today and is not certain to appreciate the return to the minimum trip, while Karl Burke's Ashes is strictly held by the selection on running last time and looks to have paid the penalty for her win at Ayr last month. With Milton Bradley's stable in such good form, Campeon has to be respected although of more interest may be Quality Street, who won her debut in a claimer at Bath and now steps into a handicap for the first time. This looks tougher though and preference is for Cosmic Destiny, who is taken to open her account.
