Verdict

With Saeed Bin Suroor's runners in much better form now, Asset has solid claims in this Listed race on his return to the UK having been running at Meydan during the winter and he has to be respected but preference is for the three-year-old PARTY DOCTOR, who gets the vote over another representative from the classic generation Aldovrandi. Marco Botti's colt was highly tried on his second start this term in the French 2,000 Guineas and ran much better when dropped into this grade in the Heron Stakes at Sandown last month when a close up third behind Fallen Hero, form on which he has every chance. Richard Hannon can do little wrong with his runners this term so Ordnance Row has to be considered but he needs to improve on form shown this term to trouble the selection. David Simcock's Georgebernardshaw was highly tried last term and again in a Group 3 race at Haydock and he cannot be ruled out dropped down in grade. The three-year-old The Rectifier has shown ability but not as much as Party Doctor, who looks the one to beat being dropped back in trip having not seemingly stayed the 1m2f of the Dee Stakes last time.
