In depth
Verdict
Felix Leiter is upped a further 6lb having followed a Lingfield success with victory at York last time. But both wins came over 7f and BIRDMAN (NAP) makes more appeal. The latter is back on soft ground for the first time since finishing a close-up fourth in the Lincoln at Doncaster back in April and can race off the same mark in this less competitive affair. Montsarrat remains 10lb higher than when last winning while though Grand Inquisitor ran well in the Victoria Cup at Ascot on his latest start the suspicion remains he would prefer a faster surface.
