Verdict

WILLIAM HUNTER was only caught close home stepped up to 1m4f at Leicester earlier this month on his handicap debut. There should more to come from Alan King’s charge over today’s trip and he gets the nod. Astra Hall failed in her bid for a hat-trick when only third off today’s mark at Lingfield but Priors Brook went close on faster going over track and trip last month. Bazooka won in soft ground over 1m2f here in April, though has been well beaten since, and Hound Music remains 8lb higher than an earlier win at Bath.
