In depth
Verdict
A modest handicap that can fall to Azreme, with Florian and Captain Marryat put forward as the main dangers. Dean Ivory's colt has shown very little on the all-weather on his last two outings but back on turf over a decent trip looks to hold strong claims. The form of his effort behind Brazilian Terrace has received numerous compliments and as long as the ground doesn't get any firmer he looks set for a big run. Florian has been very successful on the all-weather over the past two years, but in between also squeezed in a victory at Kempton so has to be feared off today's mark. Of the others, Captain Marryat has been knocking on the door recently and hails from a very shrewd yard, but for the winner we return to Azreme.
