In depth

Verdict

Jean Baptiste was noted staying on strongly over 7f at Newcastle and she has nothing to fear from Overwrite on that form. Festive Star won a Listed race in Italy last year and ran in a Group 3 at Chantilly. She wears blinkers on her reappearance and can’t be ignored while Surf Dancer was badly hampered when fourth at Sandown and should again beat Oh Purple Reign. DANCE FEVER’s campaign in the autumn was kept low-key but she did win a handicap at Kempton on her final start and there may well be more to come this year.
