    Verdict

POGO ran a cracker on his reappearance and again in last week’s Royal Hunt Cup. He’s taking a step up here but is one of the few in this apparently on an upward curve so could be worth risking if this doesn’t come too soon. Accidental Agent won the Queen Anne Stakes in 2018 and was a fair fifth in that race again this year. He has strong claims if back on top of his game but Davydenko will have to perform better than at Newmarket three weeks ago when he was never travelling. Stormy Antarctic easily holds History Writer on their run together in a Newbury Group 3 but really requires ground with plenty of give.
