        Verdict

        Geordan Murphy landed a moderate maiden on this track a couple of weeks ago when the ground was very testing. He's hasn't been overrated on a mark of 75 and should get into the frame. Solo Hunter has had a busy year winning twice from 13 starts, both on ground with plenty of give. He's been running well enough to consider as has Piccadilly Jim, who didn't get the best of runs at Thirsk last time and was staying on so strongly over the 7f that he's certain to be suited by this trip. CHESS VALLEY became disappointing after last season's debut success and has changed hands. She was racing on testing ground for the first time when runner-up to So Noble here last Monday and, running from the same mark and with Cam Hardie's claim a bonus, she can go one better.
