      Verdict

      Toulson is upped 7lb for beating the re-opposing Tomahawk Kid at Nottingham and is by no means certain to confirm superiority on today’s worse terms. Getback In Paris was beaten only a neck here on his penultimate start and Breden ran well over a mile at the track on his first start for Linda Jewell. Eternal is back up in trip after scoring at Beverley but ICKYMASHO has been in good form on the all-weather and won a higher grade handicap at Chelmsford in March. Jonathan Portman’s course and distance winner should make another bold bid and gets the nod.
