Verdict

Twice a winner last year, KING OF SPIN has changed yards and made a winning start for Richard Hughes with a victory over course and distance. There should be more to come from him and he’s preferred to last week’s winner at Goodwood, Danecase, who steps up in class for this. Compas Scoobie won at Wolverhampton on his penultimate start but failed to land the odds at Yarmouth last time while Cool Bahamian still looks high enough in the weights.
