Verdict
Lady Lunchalot couldn't quite hold the late thrust of If I Were A Boy, who runs in the previous race, at Lingfield and has been raised 3lb. NELLIES QUEST landed a minor handicap at Chepstow before an even better run from a 7lb higher mark at Haydock. Both starts were over slightly further than this and Jenny Powell's claim can see her back in the winner's enclosure. Donna Graciosa looked progressive when scoring at Beverley and started a warm favourite at Ayr on her next outing but something was obviously amiss as she trailed home last. She should give a much better show here and Vereri Senes is one to keep an eye on as she makes her handicap debut after showing some potential in maidens.
