Verdict
Bishopstone Man is taken to atone for a couple of luckless efforts, with Aiming , Mary's Baby and Yorker possibles as well. Henry Candy's charge was extremely unlucky at Nottingham the time before last when boxed in until late on, going down narrowly to Magic Amour. Strongly fancied at York next time, he gave his pilot a hard time, drifting left across the track as he was brought through to challenge, and finding one too good in Queen Charlotte. He remains a winner waiting to happen and must be fancied to make amends. Aiming showed up well last time when second at Chepstow on what was her first outing since July, and although still a maiden, cannot be ruled out. Mary's Baby has not added to her victory here in three subsequent outings at the Berkshire track and has a bit to do, while all-weather winner Yorker has slipped down to a good mark and shaped well at Warwick. For the winner we return to Bishopstone Man to make amends.
