Verdict

BOGSNOG is generally consistent at this sort of level and has dropped to a mark he's capable of winning from. His rider's claim will aid his cause so he gets the vote. Swendab is 1-19 on the all-weather where he's rated 13lb lower than on Turf while Makhfar is having his first start on the surface and was staying on over a mile at Kempton last month so this could prove too sharp. Louis Vee is a regular around here and just 1lb higher than his victory at Chelmsford in January and First Rebellion has been running well enough without winning but hasn't hit the mark for over a year and it's even longer since Spellmaker won a race.
