In depth

Verdict

LORNA COLE showed a good attitude to repel the attentions of the runner-up at Lingfield on her debut and the third horse, Raheeb, won earlier this week. Bill Muir’s filly gets the vote to defy a penalty on the strength of that form. Society Star was placed over track and trip last time, with Swell Song well beaten, and collateral form gives her a similar chance to Secret Ace. The latter drops down to 5f for this and Vee Man Ten fared much better over today’s trip at Beverley on his debut than he did over 6f at Haydock in September. Benny And The Jets is related to 5f winners and is a newcomer to note.
