      Verdict

      A small field goes to post for this maiden and the principals look to be Secret Place, Virttorioso and Katie¿s Role and the confident vote goes to Secret Place. The gelding from the Ed Dunlop yard was a good second behind Jake The Snake last time and a reproduction of that effort would make him hard to beat. Vittorioso rates the main danger as he finished in mid division behind Titus Salt last time out and if the first time blinkers work he would have definite place claims. Katie¿s Role was third behind Myannabanana last time and is another with place claims. Of the remainder Silver Emperor is related to a fair miler and is from a shrewd yard so is worth noting in the market. But in a poor contest we will side with Secret Place.
