        Verdict

        Second Venture, Enjoy The Buzz and Lemarate look the ones to concentrate on in an open affair and the tentative vote goes to Second Venture. The six-year-old was a fair third behind Mr Whizz last time in a similar race and a reproduction of that effort would make him hard to beat. Enjoy The Buzz rates the main danger on his latest second behind Champagne Rider, but that was over six furlongs and he has yet to prove he stays this far. Lemarate is also worthy of respect on his best form but he was very disappointing last time when he looked to hold a good chance, and for that reason is also opposed. Of the remainder, Silver Mascot is from a yard in form and is worth noting in the market, but for the winner we return to Second Venture.
