        Verdict

        In the maiden, Bewildering, Glory Days and Sadler's Kingdom are shortlisted, with Glory Days given as the choice. Second to Benny The Bat over course and distance on his debut, Bewildering attracted money before running green but still showing promise in finishing second on his debut; his chance is respected. Ed Dunlop's 20,000 guineas son of Tiger Hill, Glory Days, looks to be an interesting newcomer. Mark Johnston's horses are running pretty well and his newcomer Metternich is another to give some thought to, as is Richard Fahey's 130,000 dollars purchase, Sadler's Kingdom, who has a dirt pedigree on his dam's side. Finally, Sir Sandicliffe has shown enough to be given some consideration at this level but, for the selection - with the caveat of 'watch the betting with interest' offered up - we will stick with Glory Days.
