Verdict

Misu Pete can race off a lower mark back on the all-weather despite winning easily at Newbury a fortnight ago though was well beaten here before that. Irish raider Effernock Fizz won over a longer trip at Redcar recently and carries 5lb extra while Enzo and Caledonia Laird were both still well beaten when placed on their latest outings. Gold Flash finished a lot closer when only fifth at Ffos Las having slid down the weights but SIR MAGNUM (NAP) is less exposed and after going close over a mile at Windsor recently, Tony Carroll’s charge looks set to open his account in this.
