A chance is taken on Agilete, who makes a touch more appeal than Perfectionist and King Forever, while Bongoali has gone well here in the past and is worth noting in the betting. The last named does need to prove his fitness after 298 days on the sidelines and there has to be the suspicion that others will be a touch sharper on this occasion. King Forever has been tried over a variety of distances and is yet to really convince as an out and out middle distance horse. However, he does has scope to improve over the trip and would be dangerous to rule out completely. Perfectionist has bits and pieces of form that give him each-way claims in this company. The fitting of a visor will hopefully be of assistance in keeping him focused and he should not be underestimated. Nevertheless, Agilete makes a touch more appeal on recent evidence and a repeat of his latest third at Yarmouth would make him hard to beat in this company.
