Rare Coincidence has been kept busy of late, including most recently over hurdles, but he may now be a shade high in the weights and preference is for French Mannequin, who gets the vote ahead of Irish Ballad. The last mentioned has been relatively lightly raced this term, hails from the in-form yard of Walter Swinburn and could be suited by the slight drop back in trip so has to be respected. Lefonic and Finished Article have been doing their winning in lesser grade than this and may struggle in a handicap today, while Star Rising is strictly held by Irish Ballad on running here behind Swords. French Mannequin has been in good form on the Polytrack of late and should appreciate the return to this surface having disappointed back on turf last time so he gets the vote to resume winning ways.
