        Verdict

        C&D winner BUTE STREET was only headed inside the final furlong when fourth over 1m6f here ten days ago. The combination of being upped in trip and dropped in class can see Ron Hodges' charge return to winning ways. Delorain arrives on the back of a couple of recent wins over 2m in similar company but his penalty may find him out here, while Rosewood Lad is suffering a bad case of seconditis having finished runner-up for the fourth time in succession at Lingfield last time. Smarties Party has the past form to figure but is returning from a long lay-off.
