Verdict
QUEEN OF IPANEMA has gone up 28lb for four straight victories, all of which were achieved with something to spare. She's relished a step-up in trip and benefitted from starting her winning sequence from a lowly mark of 52. It's hard to know just how much more is in the locker, but best to stay with her until beaten. Bearaway landed two of his last four for Hughie Morrison and now debuts for a new yard. He hasn't been seen on the all-weather since May but commands respect. Nolton Cross has gone close on two of his last three starts and should remain competitive off his unchanged mark, whilst Obsidian Knight is also worthy of shortlist inclusion on the back of two much better runs of late and was also arguably unlucky when only beaten half a length into fourth here last time.
