Verdict
Sir Edwin Landseer found little off the bridle at Lingfield so should be taken on with PENINSULAR WAR with Radiator Rooney, perhaps, best of the remainder. Sir Edwin Landseer's new connections seem to have eradicated the problem of losing races at the start but he couldn't take advantage of a better opportunity than this at Lingfield last week. He hasn't won since 2006 but still carries penalties for those victories and has his work cut out. Peninsular War is the clear pick at the weights by virtue of the fact that he's never won a race but he's not devoid of ability and could be hard pressed to find a better opening than this. Radiator Rooney has his work cut out at the figures but he's a relatively consistent sort who has run well here in the past and could figure. Equinity ran a fair race at Lingfield on Saturday but Interchoice Star needs to bounce back from a poor display and it's difficult to look beyond Peninsular War.
