In depth
Verdict
Donegal Shore has the beating of Crusoe on their running here last month and is taken to confirm the form with Ballybunion rated the best of the remainder. Crusoe has five lengths to find with the selection on running here in a banded race and despite showing a willing attitude when landing a handicap here last week that was over six furlongs and back over today's trip Donegal Shore is expected to triumph again. The David Nicholls-trained Ballybunion has been in good form of late but as with Crusoe is probably better over six furlongs and may struggle over today's longer trip. Chorus has been running consistently well in similar company, including over this distance, and is entitled to be thereabouts along with Tony Culhane's mount Sedge but Donegal Shore has an obvious chance and gets the vote.
