In depth
Verdict
A good race that deserved better entries and COBO BAY might nick this from the front with Rock Ascot and Full Toss likely to be chasing him home. Kevin Ryan's front runner could well garner a soft lead on this occasion and with Amy Ryan good value for her 5lb claim, there seems to be plenty of positives this afternoon. Rock Ascot won in first time headgear at Lingfield though has struggled in handicaps since. This race pitches him in with his most realistic chance of winning for quite some time. Barry McHugh is riding exceptionally well at present so expect Ours to be given every encouragement in his bid for a hattrick. Alsahil won a maiden for Marcus Tregoning though has struggled off his current handicap mark with Micky Hammond. Full Toss was tried under less positive tactics last time out. He stayed on resolutely enough without threatening to win. Snow Dancer is a very likeable sort but the figures give her an incredibly difficult task tonight. A canny ride could pay dividends and Cobo Bay has to be the call.
