    Verdict

Possible Man hails from last year’s winning yard though finished second of only four runners at Pontefract last month. Snow Ocean won at Chester and can figure ahead of Fair Star, who went close in a lower grade here, while Sky Defender was narrowly beaten over a shorter trip at Yarmouth earlier in the week. Big Team makes his handicap debut having been gelded since last in action back in February but BASHOSH gave the impression this extra distance would suit when losing his unbeaten record at Redcar and Roger Varian’s colt gets the nod.
