Verdict
A wide open contest brings proceedings to a close and with many in form rivals in opposition it could be hard to call but the principals look to be Hoh's Back, Cote Soleill and Queensberry and we will take a chance on Cote Soleill. The gelding from the Charlie Egerton yard has dropped to a good mark and he showed signs of a revival when min mid-division last time out, with conditions in his favour he will be hard to beat. Hoh's Back rates there main danger he has been holding his form well of late on both the turf and thew AW and a reproduction of his latest third behind H Harrison would give him definite place claims but he has never won over this trip before. Queensberry could also go well he was a fair third behind Bint Royal last time out but his best form is over a shorter distance and he is not guaranteed to see out the trip. Of the remainder Ofaraby is one of the least exposed in the field and has some scope for improvement but he was a major disappointment on this surface last time out so we are happy to stick with the nicely weighted Cote Soleill.
