Verdict
Hazewind, Lasanga and Abbajabba look the three to concentrate on in this classified stakes race and the confident vote goes to Hazewind. The selection was a good third behind Gentleman's Deal in a better race last time out and although this shorter trip is a slight worry he has plenty in hand on official ratings. Lasanga rates the main danger on his latest second behind Sleeping Indian having been well clear of the third, the drop in trip looks sure to suit and he will not be far away. Abbajabba is another worthy of respect on his best form but he is not proven at this trip or on this surface and for that reason he is opposed. Ballyhurry is another that could go well as he was a fair fourth behind Seneschal last time but he looks to have plenty of weight and he is passed over on this occasion. Of the remainder Kalani Star is from a yard in form and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Hazewind.
