In depth

Verdict

Al Muheer hasn't won since the summer of 2013 and was beaten in a seller here on Monday, though that was his best run for a while. Gabrial The Thug had dropped to a winnable mark here last month and duly obliged so a 3lb rise is unlikely to prevent another big effort. CABAL has returned to the all-weather in good form (for a new stable) having followed a decent run at Southwell with a victory over slightly further here on Friday. His weight rise is virtually erased by Jacob Butterfield's claim and a follow-up is expected. The Firm completed a double at Dundalk around a year ago but has never won for his new yard and deserves a drop in the weights.
