Verdict
KING'S ICON may be able to gain a deserved success at the main expense of Bid For Glory and Eastern Gift in a competitive handicap. The selection was unfortunate to bump into a progressive performer last time but lines up here from the same mark so has obvious claims. The fact that he has found just the one too strong in six of his last eight starts is of obvious concern but we'll take him to gain a deserved success. Bid For Glory comes into the race on the back of a couple of good efforts at Lingfield but he's equally at home around the turns of this track and has to be on the short-list. Eastern Gift is in good enough form to go close but is another that finds one too strong more often than not so he may have to settle for a minor role yet again. Saviour Sand and Spinning Ridge were only separated by a neck last time and have to be feared whilst Business Class and Tenjack King are both of interest on the pick of their form. There are plenty in with chances but King's Icon should be there or thereabouts.
