    Verdict

Sand Grouse has gone close on her last couple of starts but has been raised 3lb as a consequence. She had earlier finished just ahead of ACTONETAKETWO at Lingfield and the latter went on to score over track and trip before finishing third at Kempton on Wednesday. Ron Hodges' filly is taken to reverse running and land this less competitive contest. The remainder have some catching up to do, as Red Star Lady has been well beaten in both starts this year despite making the frame and Clock On Tom could prove a bigger threat on his comeback.
