After a moderate debut at Kempton, NIGHTLIGHT was beaten by the newcomer Tawteen over this course and distance last month and though the winner has been beaten subsequently it was still a decent effort and she can go one better. The winner is trained by John Gosden, who has the consistent Gharaaneej entered here though she ran poorly on her only start on the all-weather. Song Of Norway has produced a couple of very strong efforts but has also disappointed including at Lingfield last time where she was beaten a long way. Yard Of Ale had shown nothing until coming here and chasing home the odds-on Pollination with much better fancied rivals behind while the newcomers Memorial Day and Intimidator should be noted in the market as both are related to winners.
